A Little Gushing about Matrix

Communication: something so simple yet so complicated. Something which is so universal yet so varied, the way in which we communicate especially. Take, for instance, the college student: their parents have the family group chat on Facebook messenger (because of course they do), they have slack for some class, Groupme for another, Discord for their friends or some club, and we cannot forget good ole fashioned sms text messages. And that is just the list of apps which I have to deal with on a daily basis — and I’m a rather unsocial person!

Why Linux, Why Arch?

Intro That’s a confusing title, isn’t it? I have debated making these separate posts, but in the end I felt like there was an awful lot, so in the end they ended up being the same post, oh well, sue me. Note: When I say Linux I mean “the family of operating systems which use the Linux Kernel”. I know that there is a difference but frankly “GNU/Linux Operating System” is too much of a mouth-full and we as a species use synecdoche a lot so I don’t feel that bad saying it.
